UBS Supply Falls

Our local United Blood Services stock has fallen below a one day supply of type "O-Negative" blood.
They're appealing to the public for donations in this time of need - warning that if an emergency were to occur in our area - they would not be adequately prepared to respond.
According to representatives - the eight hospitals - of which our local United Blood Services is the sole supplier - have a very limited supply of o-negative on their shelves.
Linda Grace from UBS tells us a post holiday donation drop is part of the cause - and spoke to us about another reason there's currently a lack in supply for this specific type of blood
