A city's webpage serves as a first impression for anyone looking to visit a new area.
Lauren Lanmon shows us that with these changes -
"In this technology driven era - anyone who has a question about anything - takes it to the world wide web. But how long will you spend on a web page that you can't seem to find your answers on - or how about those that have all the answers but zero organization?
"I think that the frustrations that i have as a public information officer, is that we want to have a unified message and a unified brand, and when you go onto our website, you know it's all over the map in just how it look for instance."
The web page
"Vision has a format that works very well for municipalities in
to use vision the first year cost to build the website is just under forty thousand dollars - but
"I don't think the city could get as good of a deal if they stayed inside this town, because i know about custom web development, and building that thing custom would cost a heck of a lot more than forty thousand bucks."
"our website, not only is it going to be a better first impression for people all across the nation and the world for San Angelo, but it is going to allow our local citizenry to conduct the business in a more effective and efficient manner."
