Funeral For Houston McCoy

Friends family and police officers gathered in Menard to pay their respects and remember Houston McCoy.
He was the Austin police officer who shot and killed the University of Texas sniper Charles Whitman back in 1966..
A special ceremony was held for McCoy today at the First Baptist Church in Menard where he lived. Austin police chief Art Acevedo says that McCoy leaves behind a lasting legacy around Texas that no one will soon forget
