Tom Green County Burn Ban Returns

With no recent measurable rainfall and a dry and windy weather forecast - commissioners voted to re-instate a county wide burn ban.
At today's meeting - Emergency Management Coordinator Ron Perry spoke to commissioners - suggesting a 90 day ban be instated. This ban will not effect New Year's Eve fireworks - although the county judge has the right to declare an emergency ban at any time. Perry spoke to us about recent dry conditions - and the weather forecast
