Some Disaster Training Reports Not Filed

The Texas Attorney General released a list of school districts that
have not submitted their latest summary reports on disaster training
today. Those assessments also help align safety procedures with local
emergency responders
The Concho Valley school districts on the list are Schleicher and Irion County schools.
The self-assessment reports cover preparedness for any kind of emergency -- from wildfires -- to shootings.
They were started after the Columbine school massacre in Colorado -- and have been required in Texas since 2005.
They include everything from science lab material storage -- to weather drills.
