A local boy scout looked to man's best friend to help him attain eagle scout status.
Connor Murnane and his friends gathered inside a big blue barn on old Christoval road to build 'Casas for Canines' Saturday morning. The scouts spent hours with nails, hammers and more to build the pet apartments. This project isn't just for Connor to become an Eagle scout. The houses will be donated to the Humane Society.
Murnane said, "I had been asked a lot of time what I wanted to do for my eagle scout project. I love dogs. I wanted to do something for the humane society. Im doing this for the humane society so I can help so I can help dogs and people at the same time."
No word on how many little houses were built but congratulations to Connor and his friends for the hard work.
