Robbery and Arrest In San Angelo

Police say this man - entered the west-t-go at 7th and Chadbourne around ten-fifteen Sunday night - acting as a customer - until police say he pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect then fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as an African American male in his 20's --- with long black hair tied back in a green scarf and goatee style facial hair.

A San Angelo man was arrested after a brief foot chase early this morning.
Police say 32-year-old Hector Saenz ran from a vehicle after a routine traffic stop in north San Angelo just before five o'clock this morning. Officers apprehended the man and recovered a handgun and substances that tested positive for methamphetamine. Saenz was transported to Shannon medical center after complaining of medical problems and taking to tom green county jail upon release. He's been charged with possession of a firearm and manufacture-delivery of methamphetamine
