Dyer Retires After 27 Years

A Longtime Police Officer Is Retiring This Week From The San Angelo Police Department. Detective Paul Dyer Has Served On The Force For Almost 27 Years. During A Retirement Ceremony Thursday, Dyer Received Recognition For His Time On The Force. He Began His Career With SAPD In 1980. Earlier This Month Detective Dyer Received The Chiefs Special Recognition Award For His Work With The Criminal Investigation Divisions Fraud Unit. Even Though He Is Retiring From The San Angelo Police Force Dyer Is Not Going To Be Sitting Around Hes Going To Work For The States Child Protective Services As A Special Investigator On High Profile Abuse Cases.
