As Of September 1, Angelo State University Will Become Part Of The Texas Tech University System. Thursday In Austin, Governor Rick Perry Held A Ceremonial Bill-Signing Ceremony For The Legislation Approved This Month By State Lawmakers.

Representative Drew Darby And State Senator Robert Duncan Joined Members Of The ASU Alumni Coalition For Bill-Signing. Members Of The A-S-U Alumni Coalition Say Work Will Begin Immediately On The Transition To Move ASU From The Texas State System Which Becomes Effective September First.
