Central High School is celebrating eight students today for recent recognition for their scores on the Pre-SAT. Principal Bill Waters congratulated the students today.
Seniors Elizabeth Blose and Allison Gardella have been named national merit semi-finalists in the 58th annual National Merit Scholarship Program - meaning they scored in the top one percent of US high school students on the Pre-SAT exam.
They'll continue competing for national merit scholarships - to help the students pay for college.
