State Lawmakers This Week Are Debating A Plan That Would For The First Time Limit The Number Of Students Who Can Benefit From The States "Top Ten Percent" Law In Relation To College Admissions. Right Now, All Public University Administrators Are Required To Accept Students In The Top Ten Percent Of Their High School Classes. The Proposal Would Lower The Number Of Students Who Would Be Allowed Automatic Admission.
