Learning About Healthy Living

Dozens of people gathered together on campus today - to learn more about healthy living.
Angelo State University hosted it's fifth annual"ASU Fit Health and Wellness Fair" today. It's the largest health fair in the Concho Valley - providing information and resources related to fitness and healthy living.
More than fifty different vendors from the community offered membership discounts - vision tests - a t-shirt raffle - flu shots - and took blood donations.
The fair also served as the setting for a special announcement about SAISD receiving a grant to establish a wellness program of their own.
Officials with the school district asked ASU and Shannon Medical Center to partner with them in this endeavor
